In a memo to employees posted to the company’s public blog, the CEO of video game giant Ubisoft laid out how the company says it intends to address multiple accusations of sexual misconduct made against several high ranking employees. On June 24, Ashraf Ismail, the creative director of Ubisoft’s upcoming “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” stepped down after multiple people accused him of misconduct on social media. CAA has canceled plans to reopen offices on August 1, and will continue to keep its Los Angeles, New York and Nashville offices closed until 2021, an invidiual with knowledge of the matter told TheWrap. “In carefully studying a wide range of factors, with employee health and safety as a top priority, we have concluded we will not be returning … until at least January 2021. On Monday night, SAG-AFTRA announced it has approved a tentative deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, and the agreement will now go to guild membership for a full vote. The tentative deal was first struck on June 11; final approval for a full vote was granted Monday during a videoconference meeting of SAG-AFTRA’s national board of directors. The agreement was approved by a supermajority of 67.61% of board members.
