Viceland and Antenna Pictures are partnering on “How to Rob a Bank,” a new true crime drama-documentary series that will examine the stories of unlikely criminals and the consequences they faced, the companies announced Tuesday. Each 60-minute episode will focus on a different ordinary person who became a bank robber, telling his or her story with a mixture of personal testimony, reenactment and documentary footage of the actual crimes. Wattpad and Mediacorp, Singapore’s largest content creator and transmedia platform, announced a development partnership Tuesday morning. (Spoilers ahead for the second episode of season 8 of “Game of Thrones”) This week’s episode of “Game of Thrones” wasn’t “eventful” in the normal sense, but it was still jam packed with good stuff. Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway tossed aside any urge to be ladylike and went right into potty-mouthed name-calling when asked to ad-lib for their upcoming film “The Hustle.” While on “The Graham Norton Show” Friday promoting the female-centered remake of the 1988 comedy “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” Wilson said that there was a lot of improvising during filming, which she and Hathaway really began to enjoy. “Annie especially,” Wilson said. “She enjoys when I, like, insult her.” “It’s true. You’re really good at it,” Hathaway acknowledged. “My favorite is when you called me an animatronic c— tease.” Wilson nodded, “Yeah. On…

There are moments in Pamela B. Green’s “Be Natural: The Untold Story of Alice Guy-Blaché,” a documentary on the pioneering filmmaker, where the form and construction of the film feel oppressively didactic, the ideas presented with a trying-too-hard energy as if to appeal to a child or a particularly checked-out student who thinks classic films are those made pre-Y2K. Director Green and her co-writer Joan Simon are undeniably fighting an uphill battle if their goal is to get younger people interested in a movie about the first woman filmmaker. Perhaps it’s no wonder why they feature faces like Andy Samberg…
