Dwayne Johnson Reveals Live-Action ‘Moana’ Starts Production Next Month
The live-action adaptation of “Moana” is set to begin production in August, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed on Friday. Johnson announced the news in an Instagram post that featured Catherine Laga’aia as Moana, John Tui as Chief Tui, Frankie Adams as Sina and Rena Owen as Grandma Tala. Disney, said on Thursday that she won’t be contributing donations to the Democratic Party until Joe Biden drops out of the 2024 presidential race. IATSE and the group representing Hollywood studios have reached a tentative agreement for the Hollywood Basic Agreement, the labor contract that covers the 13 West Coast locals of the below-the-line union, the guild and studio labor representatives announced jointly Tuesday.
