Martin Shkreli Ordered to Hand Over all Copies of Ultra-Rare Wu-Tang Clan Album
Ex-convict Martin Shkreli, best known for his nickname “Pharma Bro,” is having about as much luck being sued as he did avoiding jail time for committing securities fraud. On Monday, a federal judge ordered Shkreli to turn over all copies he made of the unreleased Wu-Tang Clan album “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin” to his attorneys by no later than Aug. 30. He has also been given until Sept. 30 to report anyone he gave copies of the album to, and all money he may have received for it. Disney Backs off Using Disney+ Arbitration Clause to Quash Wrongful Death Suit
Disney moved to undo a PR disaster of its own making on Tuesday, formally withdrawing a request to force a wrongful lawsuit to be settled out of course that cited the Disney+ user agreement. The lawsuit was filed in February by Jeffrey Piccolo whose wife, Kanokporn Tangsuan, died in October 2023 after having a fatal allergic reaction to food she was served at Disney-owned restaurant in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
