Hours after ending his 25-year tenure with NBCUniversal, Ron Meyer has also stepped down as chair of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures board of trustees, an Academy Museum spokesperson told TheWrap. Meyer had served as Chair of the board from its creation in 2017. The role will be filled by Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, vice chair of the board, until trustees vote on a replacement September 15. Robert Trump, the younger brother of Donald and a former real estate developer-executive at the Trump Organization, died on Saturday. He was 71 years old. “It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight,” Donald Trump said in a statement. “He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you.
