Warning: Major spoilers ahead for the “man tears” of “The Bachelorette” Season 17 Monday’s “Bachelorette” began with a huge shocker: An emotional self-elimination that ended a relationship Katie said she could see “going to the end.” In a tender moment, Michael A. revealed he was “at war with himself” whether to continue his journey with Katie while his 4-year-old son feels neglected at home. “I’m not leaving because of us, I’m leaving because my son needs his dad,” Michael A. told Katie, “You taught me how to love again.” The self-elimination left Katie confused and heartbroken, as she admitted that she…

Spoiler alert! If you have not seen or intend to see Episode 3 of “The White Lotus” titled “Mysterious Monkeys,” proceed with caution. No clear murderer or murderee has presented itself just yet on HBO’s “The White Lotus.” Thankfully, the stellar performances and writer-director Mike White’s (“Enlightened,” “School of Rock”) gift for dialogue have made for an entertaining stay regardless. Still, you can never get too comfortable-even at a five-star tropical resort when there’s a killer in the mix. Missed Episode 2? Hell, Episode 1 too? Be sure to refer to our past recaps before diving into this one. Episode…

South Korean television network MBC has apologized for the graphics that accompanied athletes of several countries as they marched in during the Opening Ceremony’s Parade of Nations Friday. It goes without saying that Rep. Eric Swalwell and Tucker Carlson are most definitely not mutual admirers — but the California Democrat scored points with fellow liberals Friday night when he posted screenshots of an awkward text exchange he had with the Fox News host. The exchange began with Carlson asking Swalwell to give him a call, and Swalwell replying in so many words, “no.” “Tucker, I’m hesitant to do that. You falsely smeared my wife on Tuesday and she’s getting death threats. That’s way out of bounds. She’s a pregnant mom of a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old. Hit me…

Thursday’s “The Late Show” kicked off with a pretty funny gag inspired by the huge amount of sex that tends to happen at the Olympic games. Specifically, the gag is a slow jam about the mascots for the 2020 Tokyo games hooking it up. Now, some context for this is that as always, a ton of condoms are being distributed to Olympic athletes. Unfortunately, thanks to the still-ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, athletes are actually forbidden from boinking each other (or any other intimate contact not directly related to their sports). So they’ve been instructed to keep the condoms and take them…

When Henry David Thoreau said “Simplify, simplify, simplify,” he probably wasn’t talking about the long-running Hasbro military action figure franchise “G.I. Joe,” but here we are anyway. Director Robert Schwentke (“The Captain”) has taken that advice with a brand-new live-action feature film that strips away most of the toy line’s sprawling cast and focuses instead of on two of its most popular characters: The speechless assassin Snake Eyes, and his misunderstood blood brother–nemesis Storm Shadow. Since the early days of the cartoon series (and fleshed out particularly well in Larry Hama’s run in the Marvel “G.I. Joe” comic books), Snake…
