‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 Review: Survivor Drama Gets More Savage, but Still No Answers to That Creepy Mythology
Mirroring the pilot episode, Season 3 of Showtime’s “Yellowjackets” starts out by following a dark-haired teenage girl as she runs through the woods to escape unseen pursuers. But unlike the enigmatic introduction to the series, by the time viewers reach this scene in Season 3, the grisly rules of the hunt have become disturbingly clear: Kill or be eaten. Regrettably, that rule still remains one of the few clear things about the darkly delightful “Yellowjackets,” as Season 3 continues the series’ frustrating habit of spooling out seemingly endless new mysteries without providing answers to the creepy mythology at its core….

‘The Wild Robot,’ ‘Challengers’ Among Winners at 2025 Society of Composers and Lyricists Awards
Kris Bowers, Atticus Ross and Diane Warren were among the victors at the Society of Composers and Lyricists Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Singer-songwriter Colin Hay (of Men at Work fame) hosted. Pro-Palestinian Protester Rushes Field, Gets Tackled by Super Bowl Security During Kendrick Lamar Show | Video
A pro-Palestinian protester rushed the field during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance Sunday night before being tackled by stadium security. The person in question was dressed in the same clothing as the onstage dancers and appeared to have been cast as part of the performance before breaking away and raising a dual Palestinian and Sudanese flag over their head. “The Wild Robot” was the big winner at the Annie Awards on Saturday evening, winning nine trophies at the annual ceremony that honors the best in animation as chosen by the Los Angeles branch of the International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood.
