The Television Academy announced the nominees for the 69th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards early Tuesday morning.
KMEX, NBC4, KCET, KVEA and Spectrum SportsNet LA lead with the most nominations across 45 categories including L.A. Local Color, Live Sports Coverage and Serious News Story.
The awards will be presented Saturday, July 22 at the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center in Los Angeles.

Winners in the Individual Achievement categories will be announced on June 22. Those awards will be also presented on July 22.
Los Angeles Area nominees and the winners of the three station award categories for regularly scheduled daily news were selected by national active and Los Angeles Area Peer Group active members within the Television Academy, according to a statement to TheWrap.

Mitch Waldow is Vice Chair, Los Angeles Area, and on the Academy’s Executive Committee. Beatriz Gomez and Paul Button are the Los Angeles Area Governors.
