Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” tried to alter reality by crossing over Thursday night with HBO’s “Veep,” and the results were both funny and bleak. The crossover came courtesy of a fun video clip featuring almost all of the main cast of “Veep” — including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Matt Walsh, Kevin Dunn, Gary Cole and Sam Richardson. In the scene, Colbert appears through a wormhole to surprise the “Veep” team. Colbert explains that he’s come because “the things that you’re doing on this earth then happen on my world. Over and over again.” As examples, Colbert cites eerie…

On Wednesday’s “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah had a really fun time going over footage from Bernie Sanders’ 1980s Vermont public access TV show, and chances are you will too. “Bernie Speaks With the Community” was an actual local TV show made between 1986 and 1988, back when Bernie was the mayor of Burlington, Vermont. “Batwoman” fans will have to wait a few more months to watch the Ruby Rose-led series on The CW, but the first teaser is here. The clip, which dropped online just minutes after the network announced it ordered a “Batwoman” series, doesn’t reveal much. But at least it’s suitably moody: Batwoman stands on a Gotham City rooftop under a full moon, brooding like a true member of the Batman Family, then we see a quick fade into the show’s logo. And that’s it! (You can watch above.) Also Read: 'Batwoman,' 'Riverdale' Spinoff 'Katy Keene' and 'Nancy Drew' Picked Up to…

On Monday’s episode of “The Late Show,” Stephen Colbert joined the many people having a little fun at the expense of “Game of Thrones” after viewers noted that somehow, a coffee cup was left next to Daenerys Targaryen in a scene that made it to TV. In a fun video clip, Colbert imagined what it must have been like for Dany to place that latte order. So it is that the video shows us the Winterfell Starbucks, and the awkwardness when the barista tries to announce that Dany’s order is up. “Darius Stormbottom of the house taragon, the fur of…
