Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” tried to alter reality by crossing over Thursday night with HBO’s “Veep,” and the results were both funny and bleak. The crossover came courtesy of a fun video clip featuring almost all of the main cast of “Veep” — including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Matt Walsh, Kevin Dunn, Gary Cole and Sam Richardson.
