‘Mortal Kombat': Warner Bros Sets Spring 2021 Release for James Wan-Produced Film

The upcoming reboot of “Mortal Kombat” has a release date. On Friday, Warner Bros. announced that the film, produced by “Aquaman” director James Wan and based on the hugely successful video game franchise, will hit theaters March 5, 2021. The film, to be directed by first-time filmmaker Simon McQuoid, will film later this year in Adelaide, Australia. Tom Jennings, Former Casting Director and Talent Agent, Dies at 81

Tom Jennings, a retired talent agent and casting director whose clients included Burl Ives, Lee Van Cleef and Gene Simmons among may others, died April 18th, his family announced Tuesday. He was killed in a household fire on Bainbridge Island in Washington State. Born in Evanston, Illinois in 1937, he grew up in Santa Barbara and later attended Hanover college in Indiana before serving in the Marine corps.
