Asset Search – Basic
Our asset searches help you determine what a spouse is doing with money and assets, and also whether a business or individual can handle credit or respond to an effort to collect a debt. We can do a Basic Asset Search, or a Complex Asset Search. Which one you choose depends on your particular needs.
Our basic asset search includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Subject identification (name, date of birth, Social Security or other identifiers when available;
- Subject’s address history (typically covers last 20 years)
- Employer, self-employment and employer’s address (for an individual)
- Business address(es), telephone contacts and address for service of process (for businesses)
- Real property ownership (one county)
- Automobiles owned (one state)
- Banking affiliations and bank account location(s)
- Business affiliations (corporation offices held, one state)
- Professional licenses held, if any (one state)
- Tax lien check (one county)
- Civil lawsuit check (one county) can be added on special request
- Restrictions apply; all searches conducted within state and federal law
