The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced a new initiative aimed at ensuring health insurance benefits for every qualified producer working full-time in the film and television industry. The initiative was revealed on Sunday night by PGA presidents Stephanie Allain and Donald De Line during the 35th annual PGA Awards in Los Angeles. Production companies Blumhouse, Legendary, MACRO and Berlanti Productions have already pledged their support for the historic health care initiative. “Producers, unlike unionized creative professionals in the industry, lack guaranteed health insurance benefits. ‘SNL’: Shane Gillis Brushes Off 2019 Firing, Tells Audience ‘Please Don’t Google’ Him in Toothless Monologue | Video

Nearly 5 years after being fired from “SNL” before making his debut (following the resurfacing of a ton of bigoted jokes), Shane Gillis, for some reason, was brought back this week to host the show for the first time. But if you expected the comedian to address what happened, or perhaps illuminate why he was asked to host considering the context, expect again. Jimmy Kimmel Compares George Santos Suing Him for Fraud to ‘Getting Sued for Paternity by Nick Cannon’

Jimmy Kimmel was in high spirits during Tuesday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” clearly delighted by the fact that he’s being sued by George Santos for fraud.
