On Thursday, the Television Academy announced a new rule setting the minimum length to qualify for the Television Movie category at 75 minutes — or if you prefer, 14 minutes longer than “San Junipero,” the celebrated episode of “Black Mirror” that took home two Primetime Emmys in 2017, including for TV Movie. But before “Black Mirror” fans get too bummed, the effect is likely to be mostly unnoticeable on future ceremonies. “Jurassic Park,” “My Fair Lady,” “Brokeback Mountain” and “The Shining” were among the 25 American films inducted into the National Film Registry, Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden announced Wednesday.
