Trevor Noah Gets Biblical While Talking About Recent Environmental Problems (Video)
In a funny gag on Tuesday’s “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah looked at the recent rain that caused heavy flooding in New York, and started to wonder if the storm’s proximity to other recent environmental problems means God is up to something scary.
The floods, which affected large portions of New York City and parts of New Jersey, were preceded by a severe heat wave in the region. But that’s not all, as Noah saw it.
“Just so we’re all on the same page, first we have the giant heat wave. We’ve got floods. Plus, there’s earthquakes in California, and we’ve got a plague of measles. Guys, I think God is trying to send us a message,” Noah joked. “I don’t quite remember the Old Testament, but I think he’s working up to something?”

Of course, Noah wasn’t sure whether that something is, “He’s gonna wipe us out,” or “He’s dropping a new album.”
“All I’m saying is, if you’re a firstborn son, you might want to get your affairs in order,” Noah said.
Earlier in the bit, Noah also said that one of the victims of the New York City floods was the 2015 internet sensation called “pizza rat.” He joked that the rat died in the flooding just like Jack in “Titanic.” We won’t spoil the joke, but you can see it yourself in the video above.
