Nipsey Hussle Homicide Suspect Identified by Police

Police identified a suspect in the homicide of slain rapper Nipsey Hussle on Monday night.

According to the LAPD, Eric Holder is wanted for homicide in the shooting of Hussle.

According to police, Holder “was last seen in a 2016 white 4 door Chevy Cruze CA license plate 7RJD742.”

Police added, “Anyone with information related to his whereabouts or this deadly shooting is urged to contact South Bureau Homicide at 323-786-5100.”

According to police, on Sunday around 3:20 p.m., three adult males were standing in front of a business in a strip mall in the 3400 block of West Slauson Blvd. in Los Angeles when the suspect walked up to the men and fired “numerous shots at them.”

Police added that the suspect “ran southbound to an adjacent alley to a waiting vehicle” and entered the vehicle, which was driven “by an unidentified female.”

Police confirmed on Sunday that Hussle was shot and killed Sunday outside his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles. He was 33.

On Monday, the Los Angeles County coroner confirmed that the rapper had died from gunshots to his head and torso.

A police press conference is scheduled for 8:30 am tomorrow, police said.

Nineteen people were injured during a vigil for Hussle in Los Angeles on Monday, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department told TheWrap.

Among the injuries, 14 were minor and five were serious, police said.

Shortly before the incident Sunday afternoon, the rapper tweeted, “Having strong enemies is a blessing,” with no further explanation.
