MTV Movie & TV Awards: 8 Most Outrageous Moments, From Adam Devine’s Beast to Millie Bobby Brown (Videos)

Everybody seemed to have a hand in the “Beauty and the Beast” inspired opening number for the awards. Adam Devine went full beast mode and swung from a chandelier, but he was joined by Hailee Steinfeld, Mike Coulter, Josh Gad, and many more as the stage lit up in flames. Emma Watson took home the first award of the night for her turn as Belle in “Beauty and the Beast,” but it was less about that and more about the symbolism behind the first non-gendered acting award. “I think I’m being given this award because of who Belle is…

Report Reveals Widespread Sexual Assault In Immigration Detention

A recent federal civil rights complaint by Community Initiatives for Visiting Immigrants in Confinement (CIVIC) sheds light on a litany of sexual assaults lodged against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You can check out the sketch up above. Strong channeled Moss as she gave an opening narration to explain the show. “Women are enslaved and we have no rights and no freedoms. Forced by an oppressive government to bear children under penalty is death….

Jeff Sessions' Department Of Injustice

Motivated by his deep-seated biases and those of President Donald Trump, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is pursuing a draconian agenda on voting rights, immigration, crime, policing, the drug war, federal sentencing and the privatization of prisons. Sessions, now head of the Department of Justice, which is charged with enforcing the Voting Rights Act, once called the act “intrusive.” In 2013, after the Supreme Court issued a decision in “Shelby County v.
